Our History
EVERGLADES DIESEL was originally founded by Eric J. Hafner in October of 1966, as a small diesel fuel repair shop near downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL. EVERGLADES DIESEL has become a full-service entity dedicated to the repair of fuel injection pumps, injectors, and turbochargers as well as parts sales to the fuel injection diesel industry.
In July 1999, Harry (Nick) Cibants & William (Bill) Gonzalez purchased EVERGLADES DIESEL from Eric Hafner. Their approach has been to continually improve their operations and supply their technicians with the latest equipment in the field of fuel injection testing and repair. EVERGLADES DIESEL was awarded the second-ever BOSCH Central Distributorship for BOSCH parts and service.
In addition to being one of the oldest BOSCH Central Distributors, EVERGLADES DIESEL performs repair and testing services for manufacturers such as Cummins, Yanmar, Stanadyne, AMBAC, Delphi, Zexel and many others. With the vast experience of Nick & Bill, they have positioned EVERGLADES DIESEL to continue to evolve with technological changes to position the company for continuous future growth.

Nick Cibants
General Manager & CRIN Expert
Nick has 40+ years in the diesel fuel injection industry and over 20 years with Everglades Diesel. Nick can rebuild, test & advise on virtually every manufacturer and component for diesel fuel injection pumps, injectors, and turbochargers. There’s no one more experienced in the industry!
Jerry Genge
Jerry has over 38 years of diesel fuel injection repair experience. Jerry has been with Everglades Diesel for 34 years and Jerry’s expertise is in multiple manufacturer inline pumps. Jerry has a talent for solving problems and getting his pumps running great!
Rudy Vasiliadis
Rudy has been with Everglades for over 28 years and specializes in multiple manufacturers inline pump rebuilds. Rudy ensures his work is completed to the highest quality.
Joaquin Tiel-Rivero
Joaquin has over 25 years’ experience in the diesel fuel injection rebuild industry. Joaquin’s specialties are mechanical injectors, distributor pumps and PFR pumps.
Joseph (JoJo) Gonzalez
Jojo is a technician who has over 7 years of experience and specializes and is certified in Common Rail Injectors, tests and rebuilds mechanical injectors as well as VP44 Pump rebuild expert.
Arnaldo Liscano
Arnaldo is a technician and Turbocharger rebuild expert has over 10 years of experience rebuilding turbochargers and used to own his own turbocharger rebuild shop in Venezuela.
Ray Tiel
Ray is a technician and marine fuel pump rebuild expert! Ray has 10 years of experience in rebuilding multiple types of diesel fuel pumps and injectors.
